Spinning-

A majority of the reflectors Deaver Industries manufactures are created on our modern CNC lathe machines. Metal is formed into a dome shape by spinning and applying pressure to the metal, either on an automated machine or manually for larger reflectors.



Hydroforming-

In a high-pressure machine, metal is “punched” into non-circular forms, often needed for outdoor lighting reflectors and street lighting reflectors. With the help of the hydroform hydraulic machine, Deaver Industries has the capability to create at least 7,000 different shapes.



5-Axis Routering-

Using a 5-axis router, Deaver Industries can include socket holes or wall-wash in the reflectors, per customer specifications. We also use the router in creating prototypes, thus eliminating the need for tooling.



Polishing-

Due to the unique relationship with our sister company, Progressive Metal Finishers, Deaver Industries includes buffing and polishing services, where scratches and imperfections are removed so the light is reflected perfectly.



Alzak Anodizing-

Deaver Industries is a fully-licensed Alzak-anodizing facility. This multi-step process provides for the best finish. It includes bright-dipping, coloring and hot-nickel sealing.



Painting-

Deaver Industries can wet-paint or powder-coat paint the flanges or other parts of the reflector.



Sub-assembly-

An extra service that many others in our industry don’t offer is sub-assembly attachments, including clips, springs and more. By offering this value-added service, customers are relieved of having to apply the sub-assembly themselves.
